XDL Championship Series to Air on VERSUS
Los Angeles, CA (December 8, 2009) -- The XDL Championship Series today announced it will produce the docudrama, Inside XDL, which will provide an unprecedented look at America's fastest growing action sport, capturing the struggle, triumph, drama, relationships and action that make XDL so unique. The show will feature six 30-minute episodes and will air on VERSUS, the fastest growing sports cable network in the country, at the end of 2010.
The show will also follow key athletes and staff through the 2010 season and provide a never before seen perspective on the championship hunt and the behind the scenes work that goes into building an action sport and putting on the series.
"Developing Inside XDL will be a major focus for 2010 and will provide compelling entertainment," stated series founder Randy Grube. "My primary motivation behind building XDL has always been my interest in the athletes, the drama, the action and the sheer thrill of building an action sport from the ground up. I'm looking forward to being able to expose XDL and all its characters to a national television audience."
The XDL Championship Series is the only national stunt riding championship, soon entering its 5th season. XDL is the leader in reaching the core 20-year old sportbike demographic and has developed into the fastest-growing action sport in America. For more info on XDL, please visit xdlshow.com.
The trip to Los Angeles has been a lot of fun already. Foto and I arrived at the jurupa stunt spot in Ontario on thursday night to see Krazy Kyle, Eric Whitcomb, Ernie Vigil, Nick Brocha, J Beats and many other locals riding hard. We handed out some Stuntride Magazines and some stickers to everyone and we were out.
On Friday we went over to hang out with the homie J Beats for a bit, checking out his crib and discussing plans for the house. He has some cool stuff in the works!
Friday evening we crept on over to the Famous Stars and Straps warehouse sale. It was friends and family night, but the line was still long as hell!
